I need help moving Users and Roles to a new installation.  We have had a DNN site up for a while but somewhere down the line, our install and database really got screwed up.  We are limping along but after many days of trying to figure out what was wrong and how I could fix it, I gave up and decided it would be quicker to start over with a new install and new database.  The one thing I do really need from the old site is the registered users.  I don't mind going page to page resting the security, but if I can move the roles too, that would be awsome.  Can anyone tell me what tables I need to move to make sure I get all the user info over to the new site?  Will I need to worry about the encryption of passwords being different between the sites?  Please help ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

You could go about it a couple of ways but the "easiest" way would be to get a module (or build one) to export all the users with all their information, and then use the same module to import everything back in at the new site.  I have used the Bulk User Manager from PHDobson and found it to be adequate for the job (http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=8918)
