Mike,

Thanks for all you assistance with the AD provider. Yesterday we had a successful launched of our new intranet (load balanced web farm) with DNN 4.8.2 and the 1.00.03 AD provider. This was a 8 month project  with a many custom modules. So far we have processed just over 2500 employees without a single issue/error integrating their AD data into DNN.

I was a little apprehensive in the morning...but DNN held up to the task in hand and the launch was perfect. Our database server has never worked so hard in its life! After we enable heavy caching it went back to sleep again.

Question:
We are using a VPN solution for external staff, and are allowing them into DNN as unauthenticated users. When they select login, is their a way to display the 'windows login' as the default selected tab instead of the 'standard' tab?

Thanks for all your hard work supporting this forum.

regards
simon

This can only be done manually in the database. Make a backup of your database just in case things go sideways. Open the Authentication table copy the DNN standard line (should be the first line) and paste it back into the table as a new record. Then delete the first line from the table. The core displays the enabled providers in the order that they were installed (and the records written) so this will bump the Provider ahead of the DNN standard login.
