I started an upgrade and had a permissions issue that I've resolved. How do I get the upgrade to run again? Thanks

I'm sorry, but that doesn't make sense to me. The upgrade stopped because of a permissions issue. The site still operates fine. The only issue is if I try to rerun the upgrade by using www.xxxxx.com/install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade it returns the following error.

XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://lightsportinfo.com/lsi/Install/Install.aspx?mode=install
Line Number 1, Column 1:

Please explain exactly what you mean by clear the database. Thanks!!

Yes.  Prior to upgrading, you hopefully have made a back up of the file system and the database.  Restore the database, and the file system - then restart the upgrade as Sebastian noted.
