I had my DNN based website working in dev fine.  However i decied to create a new virtual directory in IIS and made sure my project used that new site.  I see that when i run my project, it is initially launching with the URL to the new site i created, but eventually it reverts back to the old site's URL.  I deleted the old site all together, and it still does this(and ofcourse now finds no page to display anymore).

I did a global search for the old site's name in my project to see if there was a setting or reference i missed...nothing.  I have no idea why it keeps flipping back to the old URL when i run the project.  Any ideas?

thanks much

You will also need to add an row to the PortalAlias table with the HTTPAlias to your new virtual directory.

e.g.

Your original virtual directory:  localhost/originaldnndev

and your new virtual directory: localhost/mynewdevdir
