because I just do not need all the permission to the admin , I need to modify some admin menu options. is there  a way  to achieve it, maybe SQL script? so far I had known how to add a tab in the admin or host menu?

You can Do disable the tabs from the admin and host. You need to disable the flag (IsVisible) in the DB corresponding to your tab in the Tabs table.

yeah, I had found the filed and understood it as the flag to whether show the admin tab. but I had changed the status flag to false, it did show in the admin menu.I did not know why?

It may take some time after the flag setting... As the DNN work on the caching mechanism that i think.

You close your browser and check the application again or restart your application.
