Hi,

I have a problem and I want to make sure that I am not missing anything here.

I have no trouble adding JavaScript to my Text/HTML modules in <script> tags. They work fine. The problem comes when someone with edit permissions clicks on a onClick link and they are not in Preview mode. Bascially, I guess they go into fast edit mode at that point and the script tags get erased. I then have to go back in and add them via the Source button in the module editor.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Thanks,
Mike

Hey Mike,

This rang a bell: http://www.chrishammond.com/tabid/54/itemid/589/DotNetNuke-Tip-17-Disable-Inline-Editing-in-Text.aspx

But its a fairly old post and it does involve modifying and recompiling the source code!

Perhaps another forum member can provide further insight, but I thought I'd share the link above.

Take care,

Ian

There is a host level setting that allows you to disable inline editing, I believe since around 4.6.0.

That is the route I went with my site!
