This is the script you can force over Host / SQL .  Copy it in the sql check the checkbox run as script.

*** Start Script ***

UPDATE {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}Forum_Users]
SET IsTrusted = 0 WHERE IsTrusted = 1

Go

*** End Script ***

After this you must known all users are now not trusted users.  You can manual setting some users as trusted over the Forum Manager.

I've posted the script as well.

We have some issues in Forum 4.4.3.  You also can look if Issues you find are already posted on http://support.dotnetnuke.com

Thank you for the script as the response.

It seems that the checkbox of 'trusted' or 'not trusted' for a new User indicates that the User is 'trusted' from the beginning, but this is not what shows in the database. Then the first time I hit 'update' for ANY field in the Forum User Settings for any User, there is an ugly side effect that that particular User is changed from 'not trusted' to 'trusted'. As far as the Administrator can see, the User is trusted from Day #1 because the box is checked. As far as the database administrator can see, this is not true, and the User only gains trust when the Administrator makes ANY change to their Forum User Settings. Administrator is not able to edit the check box. Ideal situation would be that it should check the status in the database. The determination is forced by the code in the application to be checked regardless of the status inside of the Forum User Table for that specific User.

Thanks

Jennifer

Jennifer,

I think I understand you.  But the since of this feature was as it was added, that in Forums with large users, you can trust all with this function in the "General Settings".  So it gives all existing users then trust staus, if it is enabled.

Other way is to give own users trust status over the User Manager in the Forum Manager.  If you can not check the scheckboxes this is a issue.  But on my production environment it works well and it was upgraded fro a Form 3.20.08 version.  Also I see on testing the comming version it works too.  I am not sure how you going to the user settings.  If you go to Forum admin, and then to the user Manager and goes to a user you must have as admin (not host) the permission to trust or un-trust a user.

Finally on my upgrade the trust status of my users was not changing.  So I do not know whats happend by you.
