I need to delete a user role outside of HTTP context (running as a scheduler), how can I obtain the PortalSettings for a PortalID as need by the RoleController.DeleteUserRole method?

I believe (but have not tested) that the following PortalSettings constructor will properly populate all the PortalSettings properties that are needed by DeleteUserRole:

PortalSettings portalSettings = new PortalSettings (portalId);

please be aware that due to a bug in the implementation, you are unable to store and retrieve portalsettings per language.

The var portalSettings = new PortalSettings(0); seems to work.

Thanks all!

Hello,

I have an application of DNN. When I run the application and execute this I faced error from the below line in Default.aspx.cs page

if (PortalSettings.ActiveTab.PageHeadText != Null.NullString && !Globals.IsAdminControl())

The PortalSettings property is belongs to PageBase class.

Can anybody help me.
