Hi,

Is there anyone who might have a script that can remove (safely) orphanded records from the DNN database?

Cheaky.. =)

Yes.  I have several portals that did not get created successfully and I need a way to remove them and all of the associated records cleanly without accidentally removeing a portal that is perfectly fine.

Are any of these portals listed in the Host -> Portal page?  If so it may be safer to delete from there instead of manually removing records from the DB.

If they are listed in the portals page, Make Portal's suggestion is best.

Depending on the true nature of cleanup, you SHOULD be able to just delete the record from the portals table. DNN uses Cascade on delete to cleanup references, so it should be ok.

Just remember BACKUP FIRST!!!!!
