I am having an issue with my site right now. This is the scenario:

I have 2 users and both of them belong to the Administrator, Subscribers, and Registered User Roles.

As far as i can tell they should be equal in every right.

As of today (or mabye last night) One of the users is having a problem.

When user A logs in and browses the pages of the site most of the module content is not visible. I can look at the source view after the page is loaded and i can see the modules in question (e.g. Start_Module_476 End_Module_467 tags) but the content of the modules is not being inserted into the module container.

When user B logs in and browses the pages the module content is being inserted between the Start,End Module comments as it should.

I have looked into the database to verify that both users are the same as far as the permissions and roles so at this point i am not sure what to do. I hope someone else has seen this issue.

I can create a new user and assign it the same user roles as the other users and the new user works fine also.

I am running DNN 4.06.02

Please make sure the Design link in the Control Panel hasn't been turned on. This could be the cause to why you aren't seeing any content on the page when logged in as a particular user.

Wow

John you are a genius.

I'm really glad there is no such thing as a stupid question (or mabye I'm deluding myself). Because I'm sure if there were mine is right up there. Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to see. I appreciate your quick response.

Regards,
Julian

Some other things:

Have you tested the accounts on the same computer to make sure it's not a computer issue?

Is creating a new account for the user that can't see things an option?

Thanks for the reply Rob.

My issue was that darn Design view. A function i can say i have never really used so when a client got it into that mode on their user it didn't even occur to me to check it.
