I'm new to DNN. I've been searching for a way to create skins for the Blog and Forum modules? Is it possible and are there any design constraints? How would I go about creating a skin/style for the modules? I've read the DNN Skinning PDF but I haven't found any answers.

Thx.

There is no official skinning information available yet, but will be in the near future.

However, what you can do with the forums is look at the theme that is installed and modify the css classes for it. We have worked hard on making the forum skinnable.  There is a folder in the desktopmodules/forum/themes I think - you'll see a couple of themes there.  On second thought have you read through the forums documents.. I think Chris did mention some elements of skinning there.

The blogs module doesn't really have a skinnable structure, but I know in the future not too distant, there are some very good changes coming to make skinning modules easier.

For now, I just use containers - or sometimes I look in the module folder and see if there is a module.css file in existance.

Sometimes developers will create their own skinnable classes which you can modify, and other developers just use the standard DotNetNuke skinning classes to do this and that makes it a bit harder in my opinion.
