Hi, I noticed that the when a user posts a thread on the forum, that the time was off. For example, I am in MST (Mountain Standard Time) (GMT -7). If I submit a post at 2:00 PM my time, the thread posting time shows as 9:00 PM. I checked all site setting and they are set to MST. Is there any other place that I can change the time zone settings that will correct this? Cheers, Pat

The sending time is setting by the smtp-server, not by dnn if I had understanding right the code design.  This can not be setting on posting time of threads and replys.

Maybe I misunderstood, but from how I read the original post I have the same issue.

It is 2pm Eastern now.  If I post on my forum, it will show that my post is 7pm today.  All workstations, smtp servers, and the time zone for the portal is set to Eastern.  My user profile is also set to Eastern in the Forum module.  What am I missing and how do I make it show 2pm if I post at 2pm?

I realy think not it is a forum 4.4.3 issue.  I think it is happend any with the configuration of the IIS or the Webserver.  I can't reproduce it here with en-US and de-DE language packs.  Or it happens with the server time zone.

Ok, found out more info.  If you cannot help, maybe you can help direct me to the right place.  This is an intranet using the Active Directory automatic authentication, so they open it up and an account is automatically created.  All looks correct and seems to work fine except this time zone issue.  I checked settings everywhere, server, asp.net config, portal, profile, etc....all said Eastern Time (-5:00 GMT).

I changed my profile to central time, saved, now the time was 1 hour off (but correct for central time).  I put it back to eastern and it was correct with eastern time.  Since this appears to be per user profile, it is as if the forum does not read the time zone setting on page load.  I can work with SQL if that helps any.  Is there a 2nd column in the user profile that the forum uses to change post times to their timezone?  It has to have Eastern in there somewhere since my profile had eastern in the drop down, at least I would assume.  Thanks for any help.
