hi,

I have moved my DNN site to a new server (dedicated). On both server I have MS SQL and Windows 2003 (IIS6). I took the following step to complete the migration process:

1. I have copied the database and restore it in the new location.

2. I have copied the entire directory of the portal (httpdocs) to the new location.

3. I have redirected the domain (the site alias is the same).

4. I have changed the connection string to point at the database in the new location.

5. I have restarted IIS.

I tried to browse but I received an error. Does anybody out there know what I was doing wrong or can direct me to somewhere where I can learn more about this project.

Thanks,
