Can you guys try the free module I linked to above just to confirm that the file will work on the server. Then it will be easier to troubleshoot it in the html editor.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for assisting. I have Flash with XML in Text/HTML but cannot get the Flash running. If I put the image inside the Flash library, I manage to get the Flash running. I hope my explanation is clear. http://202.144.207.61

Please help. Thx

Ok, I think I can guess what's happening. This issue often comes up when one has purchased or downloaded a ready-made Flash component.

If the Flash object is designed so that it reads text content or other data from a separate XML file, then it won't know where to find the file when it is all sitting in the DNN portal folder.

You would need to code the path to the portal folder where the XML file resides, into the Flash object. I can see from the site that your portal path is Portals/0/

If you didn't make this yourself then you might have to find whoever did and get them to change it, or you might find one of the DNN Flash modules will work as a replacement. Check out Bizmodules' Ultra Media Gallery (look for his new widescreen presentation demo as it does images and video in one) and also Ultra Flash Gallery, which is on Snowcovered.com

They all do nice things with images, but I'm not sure there is one that also does animated text overlays... which is what I presume yours was doing.

Hope that helps,

Rbo
