Hi,

You can do this via IIS-->Web Sites-->Properties-->ASP.NET and then just select 2.X in the version category, and this should switch it over for you

If you plan to do increment upgrade, suggest to add the following to your check list:

  1. After upgraded to 3.3.X, verify the user accounts.  User accounts are migrated into new table structure.  Make sure all accounts are migrated successfuly.
  2. From 3.3.x forward, copy the encryption/decryption key from old web.config to new web.config.  Fail to do so may prevents your users from login
  3. Backup the DNN app and DB before each upgrade (just in case upgrade fail and you need to restore)
