Funny look up some old code and indeed was calling this as mentioned.  But is 6.1.1. as Marnix says does not work but if you call:

ModuleConfiguration.ModuleControl.ControlTitle = "Change the Title"
Seems to be in order!

In regards to the code which I had posted some time ago not working in DNN 6.x, unfortunately the id of the DNNLabelEdit control in the container title object (admin/Containers/title.ascx) has changed from "lblTitle" to "titleLabel" - not sure why this was done as no other changes were made in that user control.

So, the following code should work with the change in control ID's:

Dim ctl As Control = DotNetNuke.Common.FindControlRecursiveDown(Me.ContainerControl, "titleLabel")
If Not ctl Is Nothing Then
     CType(ctl, Label).Text = "A Module With A Modified Title"
End If

Leigh,

That's odd . . . I'll try stepping through it and related title setting code in a source installation to see what's going wrong.

Regarding your code, will that work in Page_Load handler or later in the life-cycle or only in Page_Init which I expect to be the case?
