Actually, I agree on that one. I've been with DiscountASP.Net for over a year now and they are really good.

Hi

This thread may be old but I had the same issue with GoDaddy install of a module, that had an issue with access to compression.config.

  • I used the GoDaddy File Manager to give write permissions to root folder only.
  • Did NOT tick to allow subfolders to inherit the write permissions.
  • Then re did the Module Install process (which in my case now worked)
  • Then removed the write permissions from the root folder via the Goaddy File Manager

Hope this may help someone.

PS: GoDaddy is cheap and effective. No complaints from my side.

The clue with GoDaddy is within the name itself :).
