I am using the Repository as a business directory where users can rate and comment on contacts. These directory will be segregated into categories. Instead of having a single listing and having a single drop down menu to sort the categories, I want to display links on the page. The links will be the actual categories. When a user clicks the link, it will display the results from that category.

Is there any way to do this with the Repository module or in a custom skin for the Repository.

With a little bit of template editing and the dashboard component it's possible.

If you edit the header.html for the template you can remove the dropdown menu for the categories. Then if you place a dashboard on the page and have it display the categories for the repository instance you should be set.
