Hi there,  <Hope my previous post did not end up in the forum .... I have ahppy fingers!>

I am fearly new to Dotnetnuke and have created a website on my local machine where everything (including a skin I created).  I used Visual Webdevelop to copy the data to my ISP and I used SQL Server Manager to create my database.

After copying the files and creating the database I edited the webconfig file with the correct connection string for my database.  I think that the connection string is working fine as when I alter the portal alias it changes when opening the website.

Here is my problem:

When I open the website www.BushPigs.co.za it redirects to www.BushPigs.co.za/BushPigs/ and displays the error "The page cannot be found".

What have I missed in setting up on the live server, and what could be causing the problem on my site yet?

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks

make sure that the new address www.BushPigs.co.za has been added as portal alias in Host :: Portals menu item (at the bottom of the portal settings page) or directly in the database, table PortalAlias. Besides there is a sticky post at the top of the install it! forum about moving portals, you should read.
