I am using DNN 4.08.02 with VWD 2005. I have this strange problem where after creating any website if I try it out in Internet Explorer it works out perfect. But if I try the same site in FireFox 2, The login stuff doesn't work. When I log in as Admin in FireFox it prompts to change the password, and I can change it too, but after that it never accepts the new password neither the old. Also if I register as a new user it accepts the registration and logs the newly resgistered user automatically. But if I logout and try to login again as the same user, it doesn't happen. It doesn't show any error message, it just presents the same login screen once again. No such problem with IE, what might be causing it? Pls help.

Do you have any plug-ins installed in FireFox to remember passwords?  I have noticed some third party password programs causing problems with DNN login.  Also, do you have cookies disabled?

Hi,

I am encounting the same problem. Did you find solution yet. Seems that cookies is enabled. But if you disable them. You cannot login in at all. oscommerce does use a querystring to workaround this problem. Is there a solution for this on the roadmap?

J.
