I'm distributing the Survey module in DNN, but I need to make a modification to it per client specs.  They want to be able to enter survey data by category, so I've added a drop down that will need to be populated from another database.  I will be running a stored proc that retrieves data from a group of tables.  I need to connect to the database when the screen pops, get the list and close the connection.  I need to do this via web.config, but I'm having trouble finding how DNN connects to the database yet to a second database.  I noticed that DNN is hard-coded to connect to the data provider listed in the <data> tag.  I've added my second database per DNN documentation, but I don't know how to connect!

Any samples would be most helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Mark
