+1 vote for a release date. A year after the release of DNN5 and still nothing I can add to my client's websites. The ability to implement a simple contact form is pretty important for any website. How has this been allowed to stagnate for so long? And why did it get so bloated in the first place? IMO this module should have been kept simple so that it catered for the masses. The module seems to be so bloated now that nobody will want to maintain it. Bells and whistles like AJAX should be an added bonus, and shouldn't stand in the way of a module being made compatible with the core framework. I don't mean to undermine all the hard work that's been put into the development of DNN and it's modules but how much longer should we wait?

Dear,

I am interested to test the functionality of the module. We are using the module (4.4.3) on different websites and want some enhancement as described in your release note. Could you also advise the planned release date to do some planning.
Thanks in advance,
Lieven Vanrobaeys

Hello Sanjay,

I am interested in testing the new beta. Currently, my feedback will not delete the first published feedback. It will delete subsequent feedback ..but not the first one. Will your new beta delete the first published feedback entry? If so that would be great...and it sounds like you put a lot of work into this beta.

Running DNN 5.02.03 ... Core Feedback Module

I will participate with feedback for you.

Help?

Thanks Sanjay,

Michael

Feedback 05.00.00 BETA is now available for testing at CodePlex. Please read the pinned post at the top of this forum for more information and download link:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/F...

Note that this is NOT the same version 05.00.00 which Sanjay had worked so long and hard to release but which through no fault of his own made it to final release. It does however, include my own set of extensive enhancements and fixes for all reported bugs including the one you mentioned regarding inability to delete certain feedback items.

The more testing and reporting of any issues that can be done by the greater DotNetNuke community the sooner I'll be able to submit this version to the DotNetNuke release testing process and the sooner we'll have a final release.
