I have an existing blog and I need to grand one user the ability to add entries to that blog.  I have gave that user edit permissions on the settings, but when logged in as that user it says

Control Panel
You must be logged in and have permission to create or edit a blog.

  How do I fix this?

Hi Ideal_Airsoft,

blogs are user-specific. Each user can post only on his personal blog. Granting edit permissions to the correct controls you can allow the users to create one and start blogging.

Best regards

Hi Ideal_Airsoft,

if you have access to the database you only need to alter the UserID field of the corresponding record in the Blog_Blogs table to match the desired user's ID.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
