I'm finally looking to improve our menu and have a development site at dev1.accountantscircle.co.uk.

It is running almost as I want it in FireFox and Safari, but when I look at it in IE the spacing for submenus is off and too narrow for the text.

I'm not sure with this what is wrong. The CSS file this is using is dev1.accountantscircle.co.uk/Portals/0/Skins/The Accountants Circle Skin/TransMenu.css (using BSoft TransMenu - non-commercial)

That is the main issue.

The second item, is I would like to change the submenu background color to the same purple I use in the main menu bar... but keep the transparency which I really do like.  I can't see where it picks up the current colour (black/grey) but when I add the purple code it loses the transparency.  Is there a way around this?

Thanks

David

Some good news - I've just got the submenu lining up properly in IE.

Still trying to battle against the submenu background color and transparency though.  I can see it all working here for another site using it - http://www.gbsdeplantage.nl/www/

Any ideas?

Thanks
