I have an issue in IE7 while using DNN 4.8.2. I am running DNN in a VMWare Server instance which has full network access, SQL Server 2005, .NET 2.0 Framework on Windows server 2003 R2 with SP2.

Here is the scenario:

I am able to register with no issues in IE7 but if I then try to log in with any registered user, including admin and host, I am just taken to the Home page without being logged in. I am able to log in using IE 6 and Firefox 2.0.12.

Any ideas?

You might try clearing the cookies in IE7 and see if you can get logged in after that.

I had cleared all cookies, page history, temp files, etc. and still am unable to log in via IE7. This happens on my local VMWare virtual machine where the site is hosted and from external pc on the comapny domain. I am able to hit the internet from the virtual and can RPC in to the virtual from the company domain as well.

It has been some time since I worked with DNN (v3.XX was last one I had used) and was not sure if there was a work around for this or not. It may be VMWare Server but I am not sure.
