I am checking out store module licensed per DNN installation or server (not per domain name or portal).  I have looked at Catalook and Portal Store. Any others?

Tom, just wondering where in your blog mention anything about the licensing of these module?

I don't touch on licensing, but I'm mentioning an alternative to Catalook and PortalStore.

Beside the two which I have already mentioned, AspDotNetStorefront is way too expensive and it's per portal only. Any why is their ML/DNN version more expensive than their ML version when the ML version has more features? The only reason I can think of is the DNN integration.

Here are the issues I found with the other two:

CATALook:

- Too many modules and too many options which will overwhelm my average non technical user which means too many support calls to me as a host.

- The developer still seems to be in the process of translating her German product to English. I still see some German text here and there.

Portal Store:

- No trials or online demos available. How does the developer expect  people to buy their product if they have no idea what it looks like or how ir works!?

- And worse, all my emails to them went with 0 replies. Vaporware as far as I am concerned and all their talk on their web site about their advantage means nothing.

It seems I will just use DNN's built-in store and customize it when needed.
