Is it possible that a registered user doesn't see a module on a page? I meen that the module is visible for "all users" and not for "registered users". It's a bit the other way around.

Not possible ... "all users" includes "registered users."

But then again, nothing is impossible :)-

Yes, if you set the module to un authenticated users only, and registered users will not see the module,.

This is definitely a feature I need very often and I vaguely recall reading in one of the blogs that it was possibly going to be inplemented in Cambrian.

In the meantime it can be done, but only if a module specifically has the feature. Mitchel Sellers has Text/HTML Denialble for the purpose and there is a free one by Seeleyware on Snowcovered that is similar.

What I'd really like to see in the meantime is some sort of module wrapper that would do the same thing.. and I've just realised who could do it - I'll go and put in an enhancement suggestion with a productive developer and see what they say.

Hi,Rob

You can use Flexible Module Wrapper to hide the module. you can find it here: http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=9023&r=3fec196fdc.
For example, you want to hide Paypal module to registered users.  You can set the view permission to All users. Then add a flexible module instance in the same page and set its permission to registered users. Now you can wrap the Paypal module into the flexible module and add invisible div around it,for example:<div style='overflow:auto;display: none;'>[INJECTEDMODULE(404,59,0,0,0)]</div>. Now when a unregistered user login, he/she has no permission to view flexible, so he/she can view the paypal module. If a registered user login, he/she can view the flexible module and the paypal module is injected and hidden so he/she cannot view it.
