I need to restrict the editing of a repository item to the original creator (or Admin) only, does anyone have any ideas ??

TIA,
Dave

That's there by default. Only Admins, the creator, or moderators (and I'd have to double check moderators) can edit an item.

Mike, I believe that Authenticated users who are authorized to upload items are able to edit all items - regardless of whether they uploaded it or not. I believe that restricting editing to the contributor requires customization.

Actually Mike is correct, original uploaders, admins, moderators and anyone with edit rights on the module can edit all items. Someone who only has upload rights can only edit their own uploads.
