Very happy to see that we are looking for the same features.

My last post has been cut, so for the "little" module on the first page, I mean some modules which display the 5 upcoming events of the event module or the 5 upcoming events with Importance High. So if a user see an event on the Home Tab, he can click on it to see the detail or go to the event Tab. And it would be great to use some web 2.0 display like Ajax Tabs or automatic rotation? What do you think about it, it's perhaps very close from your Event RSSfeed.

So it comes the 2nd thing, of course I would be happy to help you in developing the module  or testing or designing ... if it is in my skills.

Regards, William

PS : I think I will go on Visual Studio 2008 !

I think our ideas about the intended RSS Feed will go a long way in the right directtion. Please note that we are still working on version 04.00.00 (RC1 is available), so new features (04.01.00) will not be finished next week.

As for short term (Events 03.03.08) you might have a look at an add-on module Ty has developed some time ago, see http://www.codeplex.com/dnnupcomingevents/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=11526

As for help: my advsie on short term is to help tol test the 04.00.00 would be version, We have created a special beta test site for DNN Events: www.DNNEvents.net. Register, and you will get access to the latest beta version of Events, including a way to report your test results.

In the future: w're always interested in (source code) enhancements. You will find all existing ideas/issues/options on our Gemini project, see(http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/Project.aspx?PROJID=11).
You can enter new issues (ideas) in the public Gemini forum (http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/Project.aspx?PROJID=23). or post ideas and/or code here. You have to register in Gemini in order to be able to enter issues, but that's free.

Have a nice Event!
