Hello,

I am new in DNN. I am working with VS 2005 and C#. I was told to create a Payment Gateway, so I have got the DNN Store Payment Gateways pdf... But, is there another DNN Store Payment Gateways material teaching step-by-step how to create a new Payment Gateway? Because I have a lot of questions, for example I understood that I have to create Create xxxAdmin.ascx and xxxPayment.ascx, but what's about creating GatewaySettings? whta's it? An usercontrol? An Class? What information should I have from the payment site I am developing the Payment Gateway for to use in the Payment Gateway? Another point, in the code shown in the pdf, there are same "...",  and I don't figure out what they should be replacing.  In the Deployment section is said about Provider.dll file, what file is it? In others words, I am completly lost!

The "gateway" is a collective term for all the functionality wrapped up to provide the checkout facility with some method of payment.  It is not just one user control (there are two - one for the user and one for the admin), the provider dll probably refers to the assembly that is created for your new gateway (assuming that you build it into a new project) that would need to be copied into the deployment DNN portal's bin directory.

Best advice I can give here is to step through the debugger as you watch the PayPal gateway operate.  It will take a lot longer and be more confusing if I try to translate what the gateways do into English for you to read.

If you haven't already downloaded the store source, then you should do that now (there are lots of posts here about how to to this).
