We have an odd situation where a role (Committee) assigned to be allowed downloads and uploads cannot download or upload files, neither can it go to the next page!!

We have tried allowing All Users in the repository settings but that didn't work either.

Administrator works fine. The Committee role worked up until 5th May when someone uploaded a file. I was informed today that it has stopped working. We have made no site changes since the 5th. Wierd.

We have done a Windows update since the 5th though. Is it possible that the Administrator role uses a different slug of code for doPostBack?

Check the cache time in the module settings .. make sure it's set to 0. It's usually the culprit when Admins work and other roles don't because when the current user is an admin, the cache is ignored

I saw someone else with a similar problem elsewhere in the forum and did exactly what you just said. I couldn't reply to my message until you OKed it.

Why should the cache affect the doPostBack links?

Actually the postback is working, it's just that the underlying data isn't there. When an Admin clicks on DOWNLOAD, the post back occurs and the data access layer retrieves the information from the database to determine which file to download. When a non-Admin clicks on DOWNLOAD and there is a cache value, the poas back occurs, but it then looks at the cache for the file information and the data is not there so nothing appears to happen.
