Hi all,

I would like the Reply button to be displayed even when the user is not logged in or does not yet have an account. Right now, when no user is logged in, the Reply button is not displayed. I would like the button to be displayed and then prompt the user to login or register to reply.

Can this be done?

Chris

Hi Matthias,

I'm not looking for anonymous posting, just a different mechanism for encouraging registration or insisting on a login prior to posting a response. I would like the Reply button to be visible, even if there is no user logged in. When the user clicks "Reply" they are presented with a screen that essentially says, "Please login or register to reply."

Can that be done?

Chris

Hi chris, it cannot be done.  The replay function checks the permission, and is only availible then if trhe user have permission.  It is by design.  But you can modified the source code by your self, if you are a developer.
