Hi,

I have a [DOWNLOAD] token in the template that I'm creating.  It is working fine in Firefox.  The user clicks the "Visit" link and the URL opens in a new window.  When the user tries this in Safari, nothing happens.  Am I doing something wrong here or is this a bug that needs fixing?

Thanks!

The bad thing about Safari is that when it blocks a popup window it does not inform you that it has done so. At least IE displays that dropdown yellow bar letting you know a popup was blocked.

In Safari, pull down the Edit menu and uncheck "Block Popup Windows", then it will work

Okay that did it, thanks!  I have another question though.

Is it possible to do something like this?

<a href="[URL]" target="_blank">[TITLE]</a>

This way I can have the title of the item be the hyperlink.  Also, if we could do something like this, wouldn't it stop the Safari pop up blocker issue too?

That should work... however by using the URL instead of the DOWNLOAD token, you will lose the click tracking, as you will not be able to count how many time people have clicked on the item. If you are not concerned about clicks, then that will work fine.

Hi Steve, thanks again.

I gave that a try and it didn't work.  [URL] seems to be empty.

My template.html looks like...  <a href="[URL]" target="_blank">[TITLE]</a>

and the output looks like...   <a href="" target="_blank"><span class="normal">Title of link</span></a>
