Hi all,

Windows XP SP3, DNN482, SQL2005.

Installation was problem free, installed like any other time I've installed DNN.  After install I get to the main screen, go to login put in host and the password and takes me back to main page, not logged in.  Same with Admin, same with any user I create using the registration process.  Passwords are correct because it tells me when I put in an incorrect PW.

When I look at aspnet_Users I see the LastActivityDate for each one is telling me that it DID logon..  seems to log every user off immediately and returns to home page...

This is a new Windows install and is the first machine here to have XP SP3 on it and DNN482.   We have 482 running on others with no problem.

Any direction would be appreciated.

I have completly removed XP SP3, reloaded all the SP2 updates.. deleted the DNN site/Database.  uninstalled and reinstalled IIS..  Unzipped a new folder under Inetpub from the DNN482_Install package. Ran through the install, every fine durring install.. and the SAME thing happens.  NOW..  I have discovered that if I log in using FireFox it works fine!

Something in IE7 is not allowing me to stay logged in.  I have basically disabled security to it's lowest possible level.. allow all cookies..  and still, nada.

I'm at a loss.

Having the same issues as AugustusCat.

Upgrade goes flawless and cannot get logged into portal with any account

Found the answer in another post. would like a charm

You need to copy your machinekey from the previous web.config file to the upgraded one.  Hopefully you made backups before you upgraded ...
