I need some features that aren't in the standard modules and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

Events - I need an events module that allows me to only show what I want (ex. I want to just show the description to people without them seeing the title, or I want people to see the date but I don't want to have to add the year, etc.). It also need to be able to small pictures next to the event. It would be preferable if you could enter all the events at once and then designate at what date they actually appear, so I could set up events for the whole year without filling up my entire page.

RSS - I need a module that is similar to something like the one on www.fazed.net (right side about half-way down). It allows you to have one module that can display many different feeds. Standard view shows the names of the feeds (ex. Google, Slashdot, Fark, etc.), and then when you click on the name it displays the feed from that source.

I also posted a topic earlier about runnning a contest eligible to registered users only. Somebody suggested that I just make a page with the info and give registered users access to it. This is a start, but I still need to figure out where I would go from there, since if I just put and email address for them to send to they could give it out to anyone, and I would then have to go and cross-check all the winners to make sure they were registered (which is out of the question since one contest I am doing is going to have a live drawing). Any thoughts or suggestions on this topic would be a great help

I would appreciate any help you guys could give me. I'm a college student trying to do all of this very quickly because I was given a once in a lifetime promotion deal and I can't afford to pass it up (which subsequently means 4 hours of sleep each night).

Thanks,
Eric Shaffstall

I do not know of an events module like this off the top of my head.  Have you checked Snow Covered?

Snow Covered is the defacto site for finding modules: www.snowcovered.com

There are several 3rd party solutions out there that you can buy on SnowCovered.com that may work for you.  I personally use the Orizonti NukeFeeds module, which does allow you to have multiple feeds aggregated into one.  Stay tuned in the next 1 - 2 months to the core News project as we are going to be adding that ability:
