Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?

It is fresh install but I used the database that was used to install dotnetnuke in another computer so I was referring to that database in my webconfig.

When I tried to make new database for my machine I could successfully install dotnet nuke ,now my question is why I couldn't use the database that was create by another machine when that machine installed dotnetuke ,What should I do to make both machines work with one database?
