Hi,

is there an easy way of checking if a user has the permissions to see a given tab? Or do I really have to do all cheks (like isDeleted,isVisible, isAllowed, isInDateRange, etc.) by hand?

Thanks

Haven't tried it myself, but something like this should work I think:

DotNetNuke.Security.PortalSecurity.IsInRoles(New DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabController().GetTab(TabId).AuthorizedRoles)

Good luck.

Thanks SuperSKa,

one of the things that still had to be done was to check if the page is deleted. I think this can be done with
new TabController().GetTab(tabId).IsDeleted
The only thing that I missed was a way to check if the page is disabled.

Best
