Module Load Warning
One or more of the modules on this page did not load. This may be temporary. Please refresh the page (click F5 in most browsers). If the problem persists, please let the Site Administrator know.

I get that error message when trying to access a blog page.  Blog is in the dropdown list as a module but it gives an error as does the following modules:

  • Blog
  • Events
  • Iframe
  • Feedback

The database was established by restoring from a server (DNN 4.5.1).  The current server is runnin DNN 4.8.

What is causing this and how do I fix it?

First of all, check the DNN EventLog while logged in as “host” user. This may reveal suppressed exceptions that are not visible to you from GUI interface.

Also, you have mentioned database version is different than the codebase, this may be a problem as well since each new DNN version typically changes one or more database objects.
