First of all, hats off to the devlopers that had a hand in the 2.0 release of the store module.  After I installed it, it was so easy to configure to work with PayPal...CONGRATS!

My issue is very simple, I'm not exactly sure why I'm seeing the following behavior.  When a user purchases the products, and they pay through PayPal, they get sent two (2) confirmation emails.  Everything about the emails is valid with the exception of billing address and shipping address.  On the second email, the Billing and Shipping information is blank, and the selection for the country is "Afghanistan".

Are there any ideas as to what I should do or check?

I've not setup the PayPal provider as I  use AuthorizeNet but here is what I can tell you.

The pay pal payment control inherits from a class called PaymentControlBase. It contains a method called GenerateOrderConfirmation() which gets invoked during the call to ConfirmOrder() on the paypal payment control. Somehow it is being called twice. If you have the source version setup, I would start there by setting a breakpoint and checking the call stack of who calls this method and why it's being called twice.

Same thing happens with mine...two idential order emails but one is for Afghan and the other the real address.

 

I've just ignored it and haven't had a problem though.

Thanks for the info...I'll need to setup the source version and hopefully will track down why the method is being called twice.

Thanks for the response.

Like you stated, there is nothing wrong with getting two confirmation emails...just a little confusing to the customer that just ordered.  My client is a little concerned and would like it fixed...so, that's what I'll do, otherwise I would just ignore it as well.
