And how would I go about creating a language pack for a language that isn't in the drop-down list of languages?

Hi David,

It is a recurrent issue in this forum the lack of languages supported by .NET (it is not a problem of DNN itself). For example, for the Spanish Language, there is no support for Cuba (es-CU) provided by the .NET Framework in none of its versions (up to 3.5).

However, Sebastian Leupold found two very interesting links that you may follow and investigate. I have that task pending myself ;-)

I quote Sebastian's Post:

Here are some MSDN links on how to create custom cultures:
ASP.net 2.0: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms172469(VS.80).aspx
ASP.Net 3.5: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms172469.aspx

HTH.

Saludos,
Alejandro.

Hi Yehuda,

Any practical way to look for specific words or phrases to translate?

Regards,

Metin
