Hello, I have also been trying to get a image out of sql.  I have tried using a aspx page for the template to properly show the image but that was a no go. Wonder why Microsquash has to make things so difficult? All the data is right there in the SQL table and I can return the data but just get the blob data no image.  I can get the nice little red X or I can get a string of ;09561a4c0b574651afe61ff8d860e6a9.jpg;
Does anyone have a work around to this issue? I have been banging my head against the desk trying to figure this one out for the last day.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

Have you worked out the entire filepath to the image?

Why not use '<img Src="[imagepath]"> as an HTML template?

Post your source please... I'd love to see it.

This is solved for me now, after beating my head against the desk for awhile.  It was a simple solution and I was totally over thinking it.
I simply put all my pictures in a file within the portal root, I then indexed the paths to those pictures...  " /0/pics/picture.jpg"   Now that all of those paths are in SQL I use the html template to just reconstruct that into a image... <img src="[companylogo]"/>
In my situation this works perfect as I can then do a stored proceedure to match the custom profile property of "company" then matching that up with the company logo.  Then I just throw this report on every page and the users company logo shows up.

I did not actually solve the problem of being able to pull the image directly from the SQL database though. That would have been the easy direction to go with this so I just used some creative thinking to solve for my situation.

Hope this helps out other folks :)

Jer
