Check the database for any exceptionally large log files. check tabels like

eventlog, userlog, etc

DNN by default trackes insane amounts of data, and sometimes the log tables explode with large amounts of data and it causes writes to the database to become really slow.

Also I will assume you are running sql 2005 correct? Which version of IIS are you running. Do you have any custom IIS settting or a firewall the site is passing through? We had issues with a slow DNN site and it was cause a setting in our firewall was wacked up and causing the problem. I have also seen where people set work process time outs really low and IIS cuts the worker process off before it even gets a chance.

Since you have a pretty beefy server solely for the installation, look at turning the idle timeout off. This will keep your site loaded into the ram of the server well the asp.net 2.0+ core and key parts of your site. This will help with performance issues, but does create a higher level of constant ram usage but in your case shouldn't be a problem.

I have verify the log file and made a dbbc shrink on the log file.Only 10Mo at this time. I clean up the eventlog and userlog.

indeed i advance on my problem.

i had more check with profiler.

I have another dnn installation on the same machine with another database.

when i go to a dnn page with 2 module i have a lot of request in some second.
When i go to the dnn page of my bad dnn i do the same and the request come slowly so the same amount of request are doing in about 30 seconds :(

This is the same machine and the db seam tobe clean... how i can optimize the perf of this db so the request go more quickly ?

thanks
