Hi, we're new to Dotnetnuke.

We've got a question regarding sub menu's.  Is it possible to have one menu that links to all the top level pages and then on each of these top level pages, have another menu that's a child of that page?  If so, how do we go about doing this?  We basically want each top level link to have all it's sub links in a separate menu, in a different part of the page.  Like some sort of linked menu system.

An example of what we are trying to achieve:

 tornadowire.easycgi.com/dnn
(top menu on the right, sub menu in the middle - we've got no problem producing these with CSS, just stuck as to how to do it in DNN)

Thanks in advance,

Jon.

When you add pages to DNN you can specify the parent page, if none specified the page will act as a root page. By default the child page will cascade out of the parent when you hover the menu. You can inhibit this behavior by un-checking the “Include In The Menu” checkbox in the page edit interface under the “Basic Settings” section.

There are several modules for adding menus like that. Have a browse around Snowcovered in the menus and links sections. You can also check the DNN Marketplace but I find that just a pain to for researching modules.

There was also a nice free one with templating 2-3 months back in the Annoucements forum but it had a bug and didn't seem to get updated.
