Here's a concept of the image upload control I would like to have in my DNN Core Profile Property Editor.

  Upload a Picture

You can upload a JPG, GIF, BMP, or PNG file with a maximum file size of 500kb.
(Do not upload pictures containing celebrities, nudity, artwork or copyrighted images.)

I found a good book that explains the whole process of adding asp.net server controls which includes image and file upload controls as DotNetNuke DataTypes. The book is titled Developing Microsoft ASP.NET Server Controls and Components by Nikhil Kothari and Vandana Datye. If I find an easy way to add them, I'll post it.

I agree, this would be an excellent addition to the user profile and would allow the user's to identify themselves across all modules in a community. Please let me know if you get this working.

I sent Phillip an email at Webmaster@dnn-usergroup.de, I wasn't able to find his email address so I sent it to the webmaster which probably goes to your email address. If I could get your's or Phillip's email address again I'll send you the email again.
