Hey,

Been working on website for a while now, but it keeps giving me graphical problems in IE 6. If I was making a small website I would simply check what browser the user was using and then import the css with the fixes for that browser.
I was wondering if the same thing is possible for a DNN skin. Or is there another way to achieve this.

Appreciate any help you can give me, thanks in advance.

Hi

Simplest would be the _ hack

_height:60px;

this will only be seen  by ie6

Thanks for the response.

I'm aware that there are certain inline CSS hacks. These are a bit unreliable though because you don't know what future browsers will do with that code.

I was looking for a way to include a diffrent CSS file all together. Based on the browser the visitor is using.

Appriciate the help :)

You can use conditional coding / comments to tell DNN to use a different Style / include another stylesheet based on which IE is browsing your site.

Just like you would do for a normal html.

Just google conditional comments for instructions. Here is one link I use for reference.

Thanks a lot for the link, great resource.

Just one tiny problem :P, since i'm a bit of a DNN noob i'm a puzzled as to where and in wich ASCX file do it put this code?

Maybe you can give me an example of this. Thanks in advance.
