I was wondering if anyone could refer a good link or starting point for compiling a module into final PA format using Visual Studio?    Is it also possible to compile a PA using Visual Web Developer?

This is a very nicely written tutorial for creating WAP modules, which are modules that compiled and deployed as PAs: http://www.netqconsulting.com/Tutorials/DNNWebApplicationProject/tabid/126/Default.aspx
As the tutorial indicates you need Visual Studio and WAP, you can not use VWD.

The referred link above seems not to work.

Feedback Appreciated.

Unless you happen to have VS2008 Web Developer with Beta SP1 then you cannot compile a PA  with VWD.
