Getting ready to help a client get their DNN installation set up using a web farm. Just two servers using MS Load Balancer. Reading through the instructions on Step 5, it says to run “$root\Providers\CachingProviders\BroadcastPollingCachingProvider\Providers\SQLDataProvider\ 03.01.00.SqlDataProvider". That file does not exist. The closest I could find was: \Providers\CachingProviders\BroadcastPollingCachingProvider\Install\03.02.02.SqlDataProvider. That file is empty.

Does this step still need to be performed? I see the BroadcastPollingCachingProvider key in web.config so that can be enabled there. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

We're also going through the same process and I finally found that the provider is in the source distribution.

From the source directory look under Library->Providers->CachingProviders->BroadcastPollingCachingProvider->Install the file is install.SqlDataProvider

We tried to do without this step of the instructions because we could not find the file, but it does not work. So you definitely need to perform this step!

Good luck!

Shafeeq
