Hi all,

I have a skin on my site with a hyphen in the name. Let's say 'Skin-Package.zip'. A have recently updated the skin package but accidentally named the new zip file with an underscore instead of the hyphen: 'Skin_Package.zip'.

I need to delete the newly uploaded Skin_Package.zip but I get the message "This set of skins cannot be deleted because it is being used". Clearly this is not the case as I have only just uploaded it and no pages have been created which use this package so I suspect that somewhere laong the way, the underscored version is being confused with the hyphened version.

I could of course simply delete the files for the unwanted skin package but access to the production server is obviously limited. I was hoping that there may be a way to do this via the Host pages. Could somebody please suggest how I might achieve this?

Many thanks in advance,

John.

If you have ftp access you can delete the folder and DNN will revert to default skin

you may have chosen the skin in site/sitesettings/appearance so changing that to default may allow you to delete
