Hello all,

this is quite urgent. We have moved to a different dedicated server that is managed using Plesk 8.4.

Now, I have a site that contains multiple portals. How would I set it up on Plesk so I will keep one

directory of my files, one database (for all the sites) and have all of them working?

The problem is how to setup the dns, any ideas?

Thanks!

They are setup using Domain Aliases....

You might need to contact your provider for full details.

Our installation is on a Plesk 8.3 edition and has been a nightmare. Mitch is correct though, the Domain Aliases works fine for most settings. We have had to use some creative options for some of the sites though. We run with several sites using their own SSL certificate and that is a pain as it is through Plesk, let alone using a single DNN database.

Most commonly though you have to have access to the IIS manager in order to set everything up correctly. Plesk 8.3 won't let you set up seperate domains and point them to the same folder, so you have to use IIS and change the Home Directory to point back to the DNN installation. Don't forget to allow the IIS user for that domain to have access to the DNN folder as well if you used a seperate permissions set under Plesk.
