FYI: When I tried to upgrade an exiting DNN site to 4.8.3 it failed trying to delete a file from Portals/_default (probably related to the security update itselfI).

It turned out to be a simple permissions issue with Portals/_default. The update then worked fine from my backup database and site.

This verification should be added to the upgrade procedures. Ideally the upgrade program should check permissions before attempting so that the upgrade does not leave DNN in an unkown state. I'll add the issue to Gemini.
